Casino War & Blackjack Switch
Casino War
One of the most simple alternative on-line games is Casino War. This game has many similarities to the childhood card
game of war.
The start, everyone places a bet, followed by one card being dealt to every player, including the dealer. Cards are
ranked similarly to poker, with the exception of aces always being considered a high card.
After this, the cards are compared to what the dealer has in his hand. When the card is better than the dealer's, the
player gets even money. If it's a tie, the player can go to war or surrender and lose half of his bet.
A bet has to be raised by the same amount of the first bet to go to war. Another card is dealt and if it is even or
better than the dealer's card, the player gets even money (only on the raised amount) and the initial bet will push.
If the dealer has a higher card, both bets are lost.
Blackjack Switch
In this game, the player has two hands and places two matching bets on those hands. The game was named Blackjack
Switch because you are allowed to switch the second cards around that you are dealt in each hand.
So, if you are holding an eight and an ace in one hand and a seven and a king in the other hand, you can put the seven
with the eight and the ace with the king to make two better hands.
This makes the game easier for the player, so rules were developed to make it a little bit tougher. For example,
the dealer hits on a soft 17 and when you get a blackjack, it pays even money. Doubling and splitting happen the
same way it does in regular blackjack.
